Very Readable Bible, July 14, 2007

I've read the King James version of the Bible and to be truthful, didn't really retain much of narrative or the important points. This version uses current English and reads much easier. The stories are the same--it's just an updated language version. Now I understand it and will remember. I also like the inserted articles that pertain to current life. They center on areas such a Faith, Finances, Family, etc and draw from the Bible to underscore their message. The table of contents shows these articles by type, so they may be readily found. I am a fan of the Maximized Living program, but even if I didn't know anything about it, I would like this Bible.
